Conditions Générales d'Utilisation (CGU)

Article 1 — Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Wasl platform (وصل), a digital service operated by Fininov, designed to facilitate connections between startup founders and investors in the MENA region. The platform is accessible at https://wasl.fininov.com.
Article 2 — Platform Access
Access to Wasl is free for browsing. Connecting with other users requires a paid subscription. The platform is available 24/7, subject to maintenance windows.
Article 3 — User Obligations
Users commit to providing truthful and accurate information, maintaining confidentiality of credentials, using the platform in good faith, and complying with all applicable laws including those of the Sultanate of Oman and the relevant laws of their country of residence.
Article 4 — Subscription & Billing
Premium subscriptions (Starter, Pro, Enterprise) are billed monthly or annually. Payment is processed securely via Stripe (GCC region) or SlickPay (Maghreb region). Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued.
Article 5 — Intellectual Property
The Wasl brand, logo, platform design, and all content are protected by intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of uploaded content but grant Wasl a license to display it on the platform.
Article 6 — Liability
Wasl acts as an intermediary and is not party to any investment transaction. The platform does not validate user-provided information. Wasl liability is limited to amounts paid in the preceding 12 months.
Article 7 — Shariah Compliance Notice
The Shariah compliance filter is based on user self-declaration. Wasl does not provide religious certification. Users must perform independent verification for Shariah-compliant investments.
Article 8 — Dispute Resolution
Disputes shall be submitted to mediation before any legal proceedings. The competent courts of Muscat, Oman shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Article 9 — Modifications
Wasl reserves the right to modify these CGU at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of new terms.
Article 10 — Applicable Law
These CGU are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman and where applicable, by the regulations of the Capital Market Authority (CMA) of Oman, and Loi 25-11 of Algeria for Algerian users.
